The Rudrakshi variety of jackfruit, which has many of the nutritional and health benefits common to jackfruit, is round and the size of a soccerball/football, making it much easier than others in terms of handling. It is native to Wayanad, Kerala; Shivmoga, Karnataka; and other parts of southern India.
